Ferris State University Chapter

NCPA represents independent community pharmacy (eg: Southland Pharmacy in Big Rapids).  While the main focus is on ownership, there are a lot of parallels with management aspects.  This organization is one that will prepare you, in many ways, to be a wonderful pharmacist in your community.

Meeting Dates for Fall Semester 2002

Nashville Recap
 - Thank you to those of you who attended the 104th Annual Convention in Nashville, TN.  I think it was beneficial for every single person that went, and I hope that more students will be decide to enjoy future NCPA conventions.
 - A special "thank-you" to Dr. Spaulding and his wife for providing us with line dancing lessons leading up to the trip.  It was great to be line-dancing literate in Nashville!
 - Another special "thank-you" to Dean Mathison and the College of Pharmacy Alumni for providing us funds to attend this wonderful convention.

Angel Tree 2002
This year's Angel Tree is set up in the lobby of the Pharmacy building.  It is decorated with ornaments for students and faculty to take.  Each ornament has a wish on it from a local church or shelter.  Please take an ornament, purchase the gift stated on the back, wrap the gift with the ornament on the outside, and return the gift to the Christmas Tree by December 11th.  All gifts will be distributed to the participating churches and shelters for those who need them most.  Take pride in helping those less fortunate this holiday season!
